Kiel Seapower Series

The Kiel Seapower Series is a series of international conferences on maritime security issues and the consequent role of naval forces in the 21st century.

Kiel Seapower Series

The events are organized and/or (co-)hosted by the Department of Maritime Strategy & Security at ISPK. The series logo, a trident and a fountain pen, illustrate our ambition: each event combines academic excellence with maritime thinking practical references. We believe that shared knowledge is shared enrichment.

You can find more information about the series at

German Navy Fleet Tracker

Logo GNFTThe German Navy Fleet Tracker was launched in 2020 and provides weekly overviews of missions and mission-equivalent commitments of the German Navy and its partner navies. The data is presented using interactive maps.

The Fleet Tracker is part of a cooperation between the ISPK and the German Naval Association and is intended, among other things, to bring people closer to the German Navy, to provide researchers with important data sets and to serve as an advisory platform for political decision-makers.
