Kiel Conference 2015: International Maritime Conference a success

Kiel Conference Logo 2015The Institute for Security Policy University of Kiel (ISPK) and the Centre of Excellence for Operations in Confined and Shallow Waters (COE CSW) conducted the first 'Kiel Conference' on 23 June 2015. More than 80 experts and leaders from academia, maritime industry, the military and politics participated in the event. The event, conducted under the Chatham House rule, brought speakers such as Vice Admiral Bruno Paulmier (Deputy Commander NATO Maritime Command, Northwood), Dr. Philipp Murmann (Member of Parliament), and a host of other renowned speakers to Kiel to discuss cooperative seapower, hybrid conflict scenarios, and disruptive technologies with a particular focus on the Baltic Sea.
