Robert Ford at ISPK

Nov 17, 2016

Robert Ford, Senior Fellow at the Middle East Institute Washington, D.C. and former U.S. ambassador to Syria, visited ISPK on Monday, 14 Nov 2016. During the visit, Robert Ford met with the team to discuss Middle East security, Obama's political legacy, and future American Middle East policy under President-elect Trump. The discussion benefited from his intimate knowledge of the inner workings of U.S. diplomacy.

Later that day, Robert Ford lectured on the “Transatlantic Cooperation in Iraq, Syria, ISIS”. The visit was made possible by the German-American Institutes and Kennedy Infozentrum Kiel.
